The Eye of the World by Robert Jordan
The Eye of the World is the first book in the series called The Wheel of Time. Having been written by New York Times Best Selling Author, Robert Jordan, The Eye of the World is the first stepping stone in a 12 book masterpiece. Starting out in a small village called Eamonds Field, main character Rand al'Thor is thrust into a world of chaos, murder and deceit, along with his two friends Paran Aybara and Matrim Cauthon. All the while, completely unaware that their actions and in-action will be the driving force between life and death for their entire world as they know it. This book is certainly an excellent read, and the series only becomes more riveting with each book. The Wheel of Time has been published in several languages and is available for purchase world-wide. I would certainly recommend it for anyone who is a fan of the fantasy genre. |
