The Wheel of Time
The Wheel of Time is a series of books written by James Oliver Rigney Jr. under the pen-name Robert Jordan. With the series currently numbering eleven novels, and the twelfth and final novel currently being written, the Wheel of Time is hailed as one of the greatest series of fantasy novels ever written. With each book having topped the New York Times Best Seller list, the Wheel of Time is a riveting masterpiece, guaranteed to enrapture any fan of the fantasy genre. Robert Jordan's writing ability was such that readers could place themselves in the boots of the characters, giving them a much needed escape from reality. After a battle with a rare blood disease known as amyloidosis, Robert Jordan passed away September 16th, 2007, leaving the final book in the series to finished by fellow writer and fan, Brandon Sanderson.
